Everything you need to know about ordering from Pure Function. We believe in being upfront — read through our policies so there are no surprises.
Orders & Payments
Order Acceptance
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. Pure Function reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason.
Pure Function reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order, without prior notice to you, to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item. Orders over a certain dollar threshold (not publicly disclosed for fraud prevention) must obtain pre-approval with an acceptable method of payment as established by our credit and fraud avoidance department. We may require additional verifications or information before accepting any order.
Payment Methods
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. USA and Canada customers: we accept credit cards with billing addresses in the U.S.A. and Canada.
We may accept cards from outside the U.S.A. and Canada from repeat customers at our sole discretion. An additional 2% processing fee applies for non-U.S. cards. All charges are in U.S. Dollars.
Pay cost of products plus shipping and insurance. Allow up to 10 business days for personal checks to clear. For faster processing, send a verifiable Bank Cashier's Check or U.S. Postal Service money order.
A $25 fee will be added to your total to cover wire transfer processing costs. We'll provide full banking details. Payment must be in U.S. Dollars — no exceptions. Your bank will handle the currency conversion.
COD (Collect On Delivery): Available for repeat customers or when shipping costs are prepaid. COD requires a cashier's check or money order payable to Pure Function Distributors — no personal checks, company checks, or cash. COD tag fee is $15 per box (UPS or FedEx). No COD on Special Orders without prior arrangement.
Western Union: No additional Pure Function fee. Western Union will charge their own sending fees. After payment, contact us with your Control Number, name, address, and phone number. Payment must be in U.S. Dollars.
Invoice Policy
You will receive a copy of your invoice via email within 24 hours of placing your order. If you don't receive it, contact us.
If there's a pricing error on your invoice, you have 30 days from the original invoice date to have it corrected. After 30 days, Pure Function will not be responsible for any errors, including pricing errors. This same window applies to credits — if you believe a credit was issued incorrectly, notify us within 30 days.
It is your responsibility to review your invoice promptly and confirm all information is accurate. If you've been overcharged, contact us within the 30-day window and we'll correct it and credit you accordingly.
Credit Policy
Credit is typically issued within 5 business days of receiving a returned part at our facility. Processing time for the credit to appear on your statement varies by credit card company and is outside Pure Function's control.
There are no returns or credits on items used, installed, or physically damaged by the customer. If you receive an item that arrives physically damaged, contact us within 48 hours. Do not send a damaged item back unless we instruct you to — we need to assist you with the carrier's damage claim process first.
Accounting
There is a $35.00 fee on all returned checks, per incident. Our bank imposes an additional $35.00 fee per returned check, making the total cost $70.00 per occurrence. Pure Function will pursue all collections to the fullest extent of the law.
Shipping & Delivery
Domestic Order Shipping
Orders placed before 12:00 PM Central Time (CST) ship the same business day, provided parts are in stock and payment clears. Orders placed after 12:00 PM CST ship the following business day. Saturday, Sunday, and U.S. holidays are not business days.
Address Verification: For credit card orders, we can only ship to addresses verified with your card issuer. If you need to ship to an address other than your billing address, call your credit card company and ask them to add an alternate shipping address to your account notes before placing your order. Failure to do so will delay your shipment. Note: some debit card banks will not add alternate shipping addresses — in those cases, we can only ship to your billing address. This policy exists for your protection as a cardholder.
Shipping to Canada & Mexico
When we ship to Canada or Mexico, you will incur brokerage, customs, taxes, and other fees charged by the carrier (FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL, etc.). These may be collected at delivery or billed separately at a later date. You are 100% responsible for these fees.
If you fail to pay carrier fees and the carrier bills Pure Function, we will pay on your behalf plus a 25% service charge, then charge your credit card immediately for the full amount. We'll provide documentation of the carrier's bill upon request.
International Shipping (Outside North America)
We ship worldwide. For international orders, contact robert@pf-dev.local with your potential order, complete address, and any questions.
The customer is responsible for all import taxes, brokerage fees, VAT (where applicable), customs fees, storage fees, delivery fees, airport handling fees, paperwork fees, and any and all other charges related to clearing your parts through customs and paying your country's applicable taxes.
LTL / Freight Shipments
Large items such as body panels, bumpers, hoods, doors, trunks, engines, short blocks, and long blocks are typically shipped via LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight carriers. Our website will attempt to quote freight pricing at checkout, but these are often overestimates. You will only be charged the actual freight cost with your authorization.

LTL and international carriers are not like UPS or FedEx. When you sign the delivery paperwork, you are signing a legal contract stating that products arrived undamaged and that neither you nor the shipper will make a damage claim at a later time.
You MUST inspect every package and every part BEFORE signing. Any and all damage MUST be noted on the delivery paperwork the driver takes with them. If you sign without noting damage, your claim will be denied — no refund, no partial refund, no replacement. No exceptions. This applies regardless of who signs on your behalf (spouse, friend, body shop, etc.).
If you find damage, contact us immediately before signing anything.
Returns & Cancellations
Return Policy
All returns must be within 30 days of the date of invoice. Returned products must be in original, unopened, resalable condition with all original documentation, packaging, and accessories. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
There are no returns on: used parts, parts you have attempted to install, parts that are not 100% new and sealed in original manufacturer packaging, closeout items, or special order items. Special order items include (but are not limited to) wheels, body kits, and non-USA special order items.
All returns must arrive at our Texas facility within 30 days of your original invoice date. Insure all return shipments — if we receive a damaged item, or your package is lost by the carrier, you will receive no credit from Pure Function and must file the claim directly with the carrier.
All returns must have an RGA (Returned Goods Authorization) number or the shipment will be refused. To obtain an RGA number, call our Returns Department at 940-222-5499. Contact us for the RGA number and the return shipping address.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations within 1 week of purchase are subject to a 5% cancellation fee. You cannot cancel an order once it has shipped. If a shipped order is refused or returned, our standard return policies apply. Special Orders cannot be cancelled.
No cancellation fee applies if any of the following are true:
Ground shipment hasn't shipped and at least 8 full days have passed since you placed your order. Expedited (air) shipment hasn't shipped and more than 1 business day has passed. Pure Function advised us we cannot ship within the standard timeframe. Pure Function notified you of a price increase after you ordered and you prefer to cancel. You wish to substitute for parts of equal or greater value. You'd like us to hold a credit on file for a future order.
Customers outside the 50 U.S. states may not cancel after we have received any payment (partial or full) — no exceptions. International orders require us to source and collect all parts specifically for you. If you'd like to swap one item for another (provided the original isn't a special order, wheels, or body part), that is allowed, though you're responsible for any associated shipping costs.
Wholesale / B2B Accounts: Cancelled orders will be credited as company credit only. We do not offer credit card refunds or check refunds for wholesale account cancellations.
Warranty & Damaged Goods
Product Warranty
All products carry the manufacturer's warranty, which varies by product. If you have warranty questions about a specific product, ask us before purchasing.
Pure Function makes no claim of accountability after a product has been received. The customer assumes all costs associated with warranty claims, including labor for removal and/or replacement, diagnosis of related issues, and all shipping costs.
Pure Function may, at its sole discretion, choose to repair or replace any product returned within the warranty period. If neither repair nor replacement is possible, Pure Function will provide a refund, company credit, or a replacement item of equal or greater present market value — at our sole discretion.
Damaged Shipments (UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL)
Any shipment damaged in transit must be reported to Pure Function within 2 days of delivery. Failure to report within this window will result in your claim being denied — no refund and no replacement. No exceptions.
Without Shipping Protection: We will assist you in every way possible with the carrier's claim process, but we cannot be responsible for the outcome. Upon the carrier paying Pure Function, we will replace or repair the damaged parts. If the carrier denies the claim, Pure Function is under no obligation to provide replacement or repair, as the carrier is the responsible party.
Pure Function offers optional shipping protection available for an additional cost at checkout. Shipping protection is not included automatically. When purchased, Pure Function takes reasonable responsibility for damaged or lost shipments provided you supply supporting evidence (photos of damage, tracking confirmation of loss, etc.). This extends your coverage beyond the standard carrier claim process and provides a more direct resolution through Pure Function. We strongly recommend adding shipping protection to every order.
Keep all boxes, packing materials, shipping labels, etc. until your claim is fully resolved — regardless of whether shipping protection was purchased.
Missing Parts
Any shipment missing a part, parts, or part of a kit (turbo kit, fuel system, etc.) must be reported to us in writing (email or fax) within 48 hours of receiving your shipment. Failure to do so voids any possibility of us sending additional parts.
It is very rare for us to leave a part out — three people check every kit that leaves our facility. We will require photos of all parts you did receive, emailed to us within 48 hours of your notification of missing parts.
If a carrier damaged a box causing contents to spill during transit, we will assist you in filing a claim with the carrier. In these cases, the claim is with the carrier, not with Pure Function Distributors. Upon the carrier paying Pure Function, we will replace the missing parts. If the carrier denies the claim, Pure Function is under no obligation to provide replacements.
Keep all boxes, packing materials, shipping labels, etc. until your claim with the carrier is fully resolved.
Special Orders & Availability
Special Orders
Special order items may require a deposit or full payment in advance. No portion of the deposit or payment is refundable under any condition or circumstance.
Special orders typically take weeks or months to arrive. We will provide an estimated timeframe, but due to the nature of this business, some orders take longer than expected. Pure Function will not be held responsible for delays from manufacturers, shipping companies, or customs.

Once paid, parts from these brands cannot be cancelled or returned for any reason. We understand there are many reasons someone may want to cancel a special order. We want to be transparent upfront: regardless of the reason, special orders cannot be cancelled.
Product Availability
Many brands we carry are manufactured to order and drop-shipped after completion, which can take 4–16 weeks on average. If a product is in stock and ready for immediate shipment, the product page will indicate this. If there's no availability indication, assume the item is not available for immediate shipping.
Made-to-order products are not billed at checkout. We run a temporary authorization to verify your payment method, then collect funds only when your order is ready to ship (exceptions: overseas special orders and custom fabricated components). The temporary charge typically drops off within 5 business days — this is standard and not a cause for concern.

Legal & Privacy
Use of Products
Most items sold through Pure Function are intended for racing and off-road use only and should never be used on public streets or highways. Check your local, state, and federal laws regarding use.
Pure Function is not responsible for any damage any product may cause to you, your vehicle, other vehicles, or persons. All products are intended for use on USA-specification vehicles unless specifically noted. We make no guarantee that parts will fit non-USA specification vehicles.
Pure Function makes no guarantee that a part will fit with other aftermarket parts obtained from us or any other source. Most aftermarket parts require some degree of vehicle modification to install. Simply because a part is designed for your vehicle does not mean it bolts on as easily as an OEM part. Modifying your vehicle sometimes requires unforeseen work, additional time, cost, and inconvenience. If you are not prepared for this, please do not modify your vehicle.
Labor Fees
You agree to hold Pure Function Distributors harmless for any and all labor incurred involving the installation, repair, or maintenance of any item purchased from Pure Function Distributors. Pure Function is not responsible for any damaged parts or additional labor necessary to repair a vehicle resulting from items purchased from us.
Typographical Errors
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing/product information received from our suppliers, Pure Function shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for the incorrectly listed product — whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your card has been charged and the order is cancelled, a full credit will be issued.
Customer Information & Privacy
Customer information including email addresses will only be used in connection with your order and will not be sold or transferred to any third party. Pure Function may periodically communicate with customers via email or newsletter. If you do not wish to receive communications, email robert@pf-dev.local with "remove from email list" in the subject line.
Security
Whether you're placing an order by phone or online, security is our top priority. All online transactions are processed through our secure server with 128-bit encryption. Payment information is handled only by trusted, authorized employees with the highest level of security.
